Derry!

Today, after leaving Belfast, we stopped at a castle on our way to Derry! It dated back to the 1100s. We also stopped at a Seamus Heaney exhibit. Next, we headed to Derry, enjoying scenic views of the Irish coast on our way. We met with author Sue Divin to discuss all about novel writing and Northern Ireland. She also showed us the wall separating the Protestant and Catholic parts of Derry after telling us about The Troubles. We ended our day with checking into our hotel and eating fried chicken sandwiches at the restaurant there.
